What This Blog Is!

Hey everyone, it’s Lainey. You probably came here because I said I was creating a blog. As my first official post, I thought I would kind of make a run down of what this blog will be (and won’t!)

As a lot of you know, I am a writer. I make a lot of writing-related videos on my YouTube Channel. Recently, I wanted to create this blog so that I can talk more about writing and my journey to hopefully be published one day. There are just some things that come across better in written form than on a video. I’m not quitting my channel, but this is just another outlet for me to talk about my writing and writing in general.

What You’ll See in This Blog:

• My writing updates, processes, gripes and anything else
• Discussions related to writing
• Tips
• Writing samples (?) – when I work up enough courage
• Occasional life-things
• Anything else that will be writing-related

What You Won’t See in This Blog:

• Book reviews
• Basically anything book-related, that’s for the YouTube channel.

So, hopefully this is a good thing? I want to post at least once a week. Camp NaNo is around the corner and weekly updates is definitely in the future. So follow or sign up for email updates or however this thing works. I’m new to WordPress and don’t know how to work most of what’s in front of me.
